Haiz......dunno what is wrong wif me for the past 2 days. I am simply clueless as to why was i feeling the way i was feeling for the past 2 days....juz felt so lonely, very empty within me. The feeling was so strong till it made me cry several times for the past 2 days.....haiz.....and it came all of a sudden. >_<""

hahaha....after writing my visit to buckaroos, did i realise how damn long it was.....my first super long entry....hhahahaha.....and to think i was often wondering how come pple can write so much....hmmm...hahha....obvious what my passion is :P

 

P.S. to alloy n gwee, i can imagine how someone will react to the apple sauce :P

Just went the Buckaroos at Andrews Road (Hopefully i get it right) somewhere near sembawang park....and yes, it's really out of the way....真的是在“鸟不生蛋的地方" hahaha.

 

This time we ordered the Level 3 buffalo wings. Luckily this time we got it right. It was sufficiently spicy to allow one to feel the kick of it, but not overly spicy preventing the tasting of the wings. For those who're interested to challenge their tolerance of spiciness, this is a good place to go to. hahaha.....their buffalo wings are very popular over there and have different spicy levels ranging from level 1 to 10. They only recommend up to a level of 3 though, and a disclaimer is put for spicy levels above 3 tat it is at the customers' own discretion. hahaha.... well, juz a word of caution to those who're interested, try not to be over-confident of your tolerance level. I was terribly defeated at my first visit there few weeks back. I was too kay kiang lor....first time ordered level 6....coz i was told that level 4 was juz a little spicy....so i thought level 6 would be acceptable. but to my horror......even b4 i finished 1 wing (1/2 to be exact) i found my tongue to be burning and my taste buds numbed!!! although we ordered a few other dishes at tat time and i could tell that they were quite tasty, i couldn't really taste any of the other food (except the chicken caesar's salad.....that was really nice.....but sinful at the same time.  they have the same ingredients as the normal caesar's salad, but they have a marinara sauce for it....yummy!!!). and because i was too 嚣张 it ended wif my whole mouth and stomach on fire. and my stomach was upsetted for the next 1-2 weeks or so......haiz.....and that's not all, it caused a terrible headache....grrr.....and to think tat time was juz the starting of the new school term, my final year some more......

 

but anyway, back to the delicious food...hahaha.....this time because i was 'tamed' from my previous experience, i ordered Level 3 and things turned out very well, and i was able to taste other stuff as well. the onion rings is a muz try for those who intend to go there. they use real onions and the crust is very light, not heavily coated wif flour (or breadcrumbs??? hahahaha) and the onions has a sweet aftertaste...delicious! next is the clam chowder, they serve it in a loaf of bread....( for those who dun understand, juz imagine a small loaf of bread with the centre emptied and they fill it up wif the clam chowder....ya....tat's abt it). One thing is that the bread was juz some other normal bread, not your premium quality bread....so it doesn't really have a taste to it....but den again, who cares!!! the main thing is that the chowder was really tasty. But i must say the star dish of the night is none other than the pork chop. I must admit that among all the pork chops i've tried, this is by far the best pork chop ever. the meat is so tender to the extent you feel as though u are cutting fish instead of pork!!! and there is the apple sauce that comes with it....the sauce was really fantastic.....juz pure mashed apple....yummy....and to know how nice was it....juz know that i poured chilli sauce to go with my pork chop when it first arrived, but the chilli sauce was left untouched even after i finished my pork chop and the apple sauce was gone (and to those trying to be funny, no, it wasn't that the chilli sauce sucks....it was maggi chilli sauce, how bad could it be right.....duhz! lol!!!). so tat was how good the apple sauce was. :P so in all, it was definitely a very pleasant experience especially from my previous encounter wif the level 6.....hahaha....so i'll definitely recommend this place to those who wanna try the stuff i've juz mentioned :P hahaha......shit....i feel like i'm some food critic writing an article for some magazine....hahahah.....but den again, who cares......i juz love food..... bleh!

突然想起当天去观看了Forbidden City 学到了一些新词汇。

皇阿妈

 

真是看了不知该哭还是该笑。 这些词汇都是在观看音乐剧是在荧幕上所看到的字幕。“一国之君”竟然被他们写成“一国之军”！！！ 真是太丢脸了吧。而且更离谱的是“皇阿妈”并不是他们拼错“皇阿玛”而是用于太子对母亲的称呼！！！！

First time watching Kit Chan in a musical.....i can only say SHE'S GOOD!!!!!!!!!! And from the cheers and clapping of the audience at the end of the performance you know who they came to watch.....:D

Dick Lee is juz so talented. The way he writes the songs for the musical.....it's juz so fantastic. Especially when he tries to merge the sounds of western and eastern musical instruments.....it just blends in so well....and merge so nicely...

I must say this musical really exceeded my expectations. I did have quite high expectations from it considering it is Dick Lee's musical and the fact that Kit Chan is performing. It really goes to show how good it was. And all the actors, they were really good. I was actually expecting some serious storyline.....but of coz it'll have put most audience to sleep before the interval if that was the case. Instead, they had Hossan Leong and Sebastian Tan (funny no one really remembers him.....but i do from the singing competition organised by the then-TCS many years ago, and i remember him as the champion in the male category...well.....) popping out every now and then playing the clowns.....reminds me of the porter in Macbeth......the role of lightening up tension of the storyline.....but i muz say they really did it quite well......especially the storytelling part, with them narrating the story of Pangu....hhahaha....hilarious!!!

All in all, i'll give this musical a 9-9.5 out of 10. And i'll definitely recommend it anytime! I'm so glad that i caught it. :D

Finally LPC spoke English today.....after weeks of Martian he finally came back to Earth liao.....don't even know what he has been talking for the past few weeks....and so apparent he doesn't come prepared for lectures.....i think many times when he tries to explain some formula/theorem, he juz blabbers on and on and probably wake up in the middle of his blabbering and found out he himself doesn't even know what on earth he is talking about.....no wonder so often he juz talks about stuff halfway den suddenly change topic.....haiz.....incompetent guy...

Of coz there're always some pple who juz simply follow blindly.....LPC tries to 'explain' the formulas/theorems and prove that they are right by juz substituting values into the formula and show that the result is as shown....>_<"" for wt???? doesn't prove anything....doesn't help in understanding how the formula is derived.....and some pple juz happily copy like it's some exam tips......duhz!!! Tat's why sometimes i wonder how come they can take down so many 'notes'....and write all over their lecture notes as though it's 鬼画符...but i found out a lot of them were juz simply copying whatever LPC wrote on his tablet.....doesn't matter if they understand or not.....sigh......

Finally.....FF made an effort to give his debut full 1 hr lecture. It was by far his longest lecture ever (and clearest). At least i was able to decipher more than 80% of the stuff he was talking about though i could see that some others were trying very hard, straining their ears trying to catch each and every syllabus of the words he was speaking....sigh...i still think that all lecturers should undergo training at NIE to learn how to teach properly. And yes! Definitely a course on articulation! Couldn't even hear properly was it 'side' or 'site' and his notes was purely diagrams (which i still do not know its value) and not a single word. How can you even call that lecture notes?!?!?!?!??! Lecture pictorials perhaps.....so maybe we should allow kindergarten kids to attend university as well, since they read picture books that well.......after all kids are getting smarter today ;)

Super pissed off!!!!!! how the hell did this LPC even get to lecture?????? Spent 1/2 hour on a stupid simple diagram and rush through other tougher topics (3 in fact) and only spent 1/2 hr on the 3 tougher topics? Is he stupid or wat? I don't understand why is it so challenging for him to spend more time on more important and more difficult concepts rather than wasting time blabbering rubbish.......sigh......someone help me pls......

OMG!!!! Never eaten a more expensive bento b4....but it's so N.......I........C.......E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The crab meat was so sweet and fresh, the ikura......mmmmmm........and the uni.........yummy......and not forgetting the hotate........makes me feel hungry again......hehehe....

So pissed off this morning...there was this stupid old woman who was walking in front of me on my way to office. She saw that the lift door was closing so she ran towards the lift and i started to run as well la. When i reached the lift, the door was almost closed but that stupid old woman saw me lor...and didn't bother to open the door for me....B*TCH! luckily i managed to press the lift button in time and opened the darned door. Stared at her all the time in the lift. And best of all, she most prob knew what was happening and didn't even dare to look in my direction for a second....hahahaa....."THE POWER OF THE EYE"!!!! hahahaa....so who says pple wif small eyes can't intimidate others?! try me....muahahahahhaa
